Biogame

MacEwan University wanted to develop a game. With Dr. Ross Shaw, Isabelle Sperano, and Dr. Robert Andruchow, I and 2 other graduates developed a game together.

My main focus was on the user interface- menu’s, indicators, screen flow, and HUD. I studied a good chunk of a biology textbook in order to be able to apply game design to the subject, too! It was definitely one of the most rewarding projects.

Steam

This was my last project in university, and my capstone. I was so lucky to have professors who understood my love of video games, and helped me to start to find my footing in the industry. (I even made a video game with them for a research project last year!) I went big for this project, and redesigned the Steam app, an app that lets you purchase and launch video games.

This was also one of the first times I designed something on a livestream, getting feedback from anyone who stopped by!
